Step by step my embroidered blocks are improving in the appearance of the text.
After cleaning the bobbin area, carefully tight wound bobbin thread, a new needle and a second layer of tear-away stabilizer below the text it there is less bobbin thread on top visible. Next time I will use a third layer and then the text will hopefully be perfect as the rest.
After a tip of a Facebook group member I cut out the block with the messed-up backside with pinking shears and now have a mugrug for my sewing room. Doesn’t it look like it was supposed to be like this?
